Supporting the programme
The Mountain Activities Active Support Unit seeks to provide activities ranging from hillwalking & navigation, to climbing & abseiling.
The Active Support Unit is made up of volunteers who have gained nationally recognised qualifications and/or Scout Activity Permits in an activity.
Supporting leaders
The Active Support Unit actively encourages and supports leaders within the district to gain qualifications and permits in mountain activities.
